As an illustrator and maker, research is a fundamental component of my practice, with a particular focus on themes of queer culture and spatiality. My work aims to document and communicate aspects of Scottish queer history that are often overlooked or inaccessible, utilising archival material and oral histories. By exploring the significance of queer space in urban contexts, my work records how these spaces shape and reflect the lives of those who occupy them. By highlighting the underrepresented experiences of queer Scots, my work contributes a unique perspective to discussions on identity and place.
