I am a designer focusing primarily on editorial design, photography, branding and book design. Fundamental to my practice is a commitment to thorough research, materiality, and working between physical and digital forms. A highlight of my work this year has been typesetting my dissertation which discussed gender issues in women’s football. The opportunity to research a subject which I am passionate about, and subsequently design it, was a thoroughly enjoyable process. I engaged in a collaborative project with a fashion student, photographing their final collection and designing a 36-page publication showcasing the looks. Design agency ‘Moving brands’ provided the opportunity to brand a ‘Museum in Oslo'. I based the hypothetical museum on the (controversial) invention of the paperclip.
